Today has been a highly satisfying day.

I felt in control.

I made choices I could.

I was me. 

Unadulterated

Confident, risky, careful.

A doer again.

Funny yet serious,

Adventurous yet stupid.

Pushed myself,

Was pushed, 
Charged yet satiated.
I have grown already. Each second of this day.

Unknowingly maybe.

But the pitter-patter and two children sleeping remind me of it.
I could have cried or screamed but instead I laughed and sank,

Into the cow pat pit,

Go figure. 

While I listen to the rain,
